Soriane Renaud is a Canadian soprano from Montreal. Her love for music started at an early age, where she began her musical training in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, playing the trumpet. She later attended Pierre-Laporte high school, where she studied vocal music and eventually became a soloist for the school orchestra. She continued her education in classical singing at Collège Vincent d'Indy, where she won the first prize in the NATS competition and was also a laureate in the Canadian Music Competition. It was during this time that Soriane made her operatic debut, performing in La Traviata with the Chœur and l'Orchestre Philharmonique du Nouveau Monde. During her studies in classical singing at the University of Montreal, she performed in Purcell's opera Fairy Queen and Mozart's opera Les Noces de Figaro. Soriane also spent several years as a cantor at the sanctuary of St. Joseph's Oratory in Montreal, which allowed her to deepen her love for sacred music. In addition to her performances in Montreal, Soriane also had the opportunity to participate in Bach's Passion selon St-Mathieu with the choir and orchestra of St. Andrew's and St. Paul's Church, which was recorded by CBC Radio 2. She also spent two years in Japan, where she discovered and presented a cycle of music by Yamada Kōsaku to the Japanese Consul in Montreal. She went to France to further her education and participated in several concerts. She continued her studies in Belgium at the Institut Royal Supérieur de Musique et de pédagogie after relocating to Berlin.

Since her move to Berlin, Soriane has performed as a soloist with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, the Brandenburg Orchestra, the Filharmonia Pomorska Bydgoszcz, the Baroque Orchestra Sìbaró in Italy, the Berliner Konzert Orchester, the Kleine Barockband Orchester, and the Junge Philharmonie Berlin. She has performed works by J.S. Bach, including Kantate BWV 210 "O, holder Tag, erwünschte Zeit," Chorfantasie op. 80 by Ludwig van Beethoven, and Francesco Conti's "Cantate languet anima mea, as well as Te Deum by Johan Helmich Roman and Heinrich Kaminski's Psalm 130 with the Berliner Cappella choir, directed by Kerstin Behnke. Soriane's discography includes NORDNORDOST, Berliner Cappella, with Kerstin Behnke, and the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra. She has a passion for interpreting the music of living composers such as Samy Moussa with the recording of « The Lilly » on a poem of William Blake for voice and piano as well as music from the Middle Ages, such as that of Hildegard von Bingen. She has been a part of several projects funded by the "Bundesregierung für Kultur und Medien" of Germany.

She enjoys performing both ancient and contemporary music as a soloist, as well as singing in ensembles. She has had the opportunity to perform with Voces8, Ensemble Modern, and has participated in several choir competitions. She and the Neue Kammerchor Berlin won the first prize at the Deutscher Chorfest Prize in Leipzig in both the "contemporary" and "romantic" categories, with a special award for producing a CD with the Rondeau label.

Since 2023, Soriane has been active in German theaters, particularly at the Görlitz Theater, where she has had the opportunity to participate in productions such as Handel’s “Saul” and Richard Wagner’s “Der fliegende Holländer,” as well as Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte.” Her career in German theaters has begun, and she looks forward to continuing her work in this field.
